Urban Partnerships Program 2015 – 2016
The Urban Partnerships program is funded by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada and delivered in part by the National Association of Friendship Centres (NAFC) and its provincial/territorial associations. The program provides project funding to build partnerships between organizations and governments; and encourage Aboriginal participation in the economy. This support has carried enormous impact for our organization to build our activities, build our membership base and strengthen our organizational capacity.
Urban Aboriginal Strategy: 2012 – 2013
The Urban Aboriginal Strategy is supporting APAC to carry out a series of projects that will result in three core objectives: 1) build our organizational capacity for further growth in 2013; 2) expand our membership base; and 3) enhance our programs and services, including the development of an Aboriginal post-secondary student membership outreach program.
2012 Foundational Funding Partners
In 2012, RBC Royal Bank of Canada and Accenture Canada collaboratively became our APAC Foundational Sponsors to invest in our organization at its earliest stages of growth. This support has carried enormous impact for our organization to build our activities, build our membership base and strengthen our organizational capacity.
